British Summer

Okay, global warming seems to be taking effect this summer ^^'

I can't vouch for anywhere else, but England has been unnaturally hot this past week. I wouldn't mind normally, but it's a humid kind of heat, so it's very difficult to cool down once you're too hot. Evil I tells ya'

Anyway, I'm all over the place this summer. Back home with the family in Warrington working my old job, occasionally darting back to my flat in Lincoln to see people, and I'll be back off to Florida towards the end of August for a family holiday (which I'm really excited about)

Point is... I'm being kept pretty busy ^^' So although I'm trying my best to keep up a steady stream of new doodles, sketches and scribbles... it's tough going I'm afraid.

The only other big news that's happened betwixt now and my last journal post is that I have a new girlfriend :)

You may remember me mentioning my flatmate, Tina :iconk-michael: in my journal. Well... :D

She's not on DA as often as me, but check out her gallery anyway. She's lovely :)

Urgh, loads - school work, mainly. There's so much and so little I have to tell you. *laughs* Tell ya what: ask me a question and I'll answer it, like truth or dare or something. *shrug*

Alri-tee then. Erm, I'm good generally, but have a bit of a headache this moment in time. The 'girlfriend' position is now occupied by a different girl, lol, but she's fine. We're missing each other. My uni course is great :) Got off to a dud start, but I managed to turn it around towards the end. Really looking forward to next year.

Now for you... hmmmm... tell me one of those things that's been a big deal for you since we last spoke, but you don't think would interest me.

P.S. I hope MJ's death wasn't planned. That would be pretty sad.

Well; I hope you and your new girlfriend are doing great, and I'm glad that you enjoy your university course. *smiles* I'm still trying to choose mine! I've chosen 'Interior Architecture' in all five of my UCAS choices, but I'm having second thoughts. Should I try just plain Architecture, or go for the more creative interior design - or do something completely different and try event planning? :o Sooooo confusing >.<

Oh, and something that was a big deal for me that you won't find interesting: a guy off the street asked for my number. That was equal parts terrifying and flattering. Let's just say I've had very bad experience with men in the past, and he had the infamous ';predator glint' in his eyes, so...

T_T *sniffles*

... but on the plus side, I've found a guy who looks slightly last "pedobear" than the ones I'm used to. He's still a player, no doubt about that - but they're getting milder. w00t! =D

OK. Now a question for you. What's the weirdest thing that's happened to you, lately?
